Our hope is that MCC will be known as a “praying church”, not just as a “church that prays”. The amount of prayer we experience reveals our trust in God and His sovereignty and our faith in Him.
Prayer is a part of our corporate meetings on Sunday mornings as we praise Him and share our needs. We also include prayer requests on our monthly bulletin for support from the church family during the week. At the end of each service we have volunteers who make themselves available to pray with anyone who desires. In addition, there is a prayer chain available to receive prayer requests by phone or e-mail. As with any prayer requests given at our prayer meetings or in the Sunday services, these requests are to be held in confidence. This is vital to the prayer ministry so all feel safe asking for prayer knowing that their story is their story to tell as they see fit and will not be told by someone else.
