Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.
Galatians 6:10

The Millarville Church Compassion Team meets once a month to discuss and provide the needs within our MCC congregation, also to reach out to those in the community. These needs are varied, such as illness, hospital and home visits, rides to and from doctor appointments and church. Visits to shut-ins include Bible reading, discussion, application, prayer, and communion if requested.  Frozen meals are provided to those who are recovering from an illness, personal loss or life crisis.  The Team also provides homemade greeting cards and gifts to cheer those who are ill, lonely, grieving a personal loss, or to celebrate and welcome a newborn baby. A monetary gift, or a gas card, has been provided under special circumstances.

The Compassion Team welcomes anyone who would like to enjoy the benefits of fellowship of this small group. The team starts and ends each meeting with prayer for all our brothers and sisters-in-Christ and others who are in need.

Jesus is the ultimate example of compassion and mercy. Therefore, He is the example that the MCC Compassion Team endeavour to follow.
