Over the next month, we will be holding small group gatherings to get feedback from the MCC congregation on different parts of the Five Year Plan which was proposed by the Board of Elders and described in the 2025 Annual Report. We want to know your beliefs about what direction God would desire MCC to take in the future. Please PRAY, DISCUSS, and THINK ABOUT how, if at all, we should change what we do now to be more successful in our mission in the future.
Our Mission is to grow the Kingdom of God, to make disciples of all believers, and to equip them to bring in new believers and to disciple younger generations in turn.
The Questionnaire will be available in the lobby of the church and by email from the church office. You may wish to fill out the questionnaire and submit it without attending a session, but we would expect the discussion to be valuable to you as you contemplate your answers. When you see the Questionnaire, please prayerfully consider each question and ask the Holy Spirit for His direction. We want to follow Jesus to where God leads us.
One future event that we know is coming is the retirement of Pastor John Wiuff in 2028. The first Questionnaire is asking what we should be looking for in the new Pastor. Again, we want to know what GOD is telling you that He wants.
We will be scheduling a number of sessions, each with 6 to 10 people attending. They will be at various times of the day and on various days of the week to accommodate as many of you as possible. We are seeking your input, and will work hard to ensure that we do not influence your comments in any way. We want your honest feedback and thoughts on the matter at hand. Comments that are made outside the direct answers to the questionnaire will be recorded and will remain anonymous. Please do not put your name on the questionnaire or identify it in any way.
Please attend only one session each. Sessions will be facilitated by an Elder who will be accompanied by a recorder. The Facilitator will be identified on the sign-up sheet when you select the session you want to attend.
We look forward to hearing from all of you and we pray that we will be hearing from God through you.
Thank you in advance for your contribution to the future of MCC.
Blessings,
Bill Cutress, Chair,
MCC Board of Elders

The MCC Board of Elders has decided to establish a designated Fund within the Benevolence Account. It will be known as the Families at Risk (F.A.R.) Fund and donations may be designated to the benefit of this Fund beginning immediately.
The purpose of the Fund is to provide financial assistance to families who are unable to obtain adequate day-to-day funding from publicly available sources. Applications for assistance from this fund will be kept totally confidential, as required by the Benevolence Fund Guidelines from the CRA.
The Fund will be administered by the Chair and Vice-Chair of the Board of Elders, in consultation with the Treasurer and as approved by the unanimous agreement of the Board. The recipient(s) will be anonymous, as will the amounts of support given. All support given will be paid directly to the payees rather than to the families being supported.
The impetus for this Fund comes from the increasing frequency of requests where the need is urgent and publicly available support is insufficient. The focus of the support will be directed towards stabilizing the living situation and to helping the family re-establish its health and independence.
Any questions about the Fund itself may be directed to the Chair of the Board of Elders or to the Treasurer of MCC.
